    Attention Pro1 WIFI Thermostat Owners

    Pro1 is completing a major update to our WIFI infrastructure. This is more than a simple update to an app. We have rewritten the entire server and app from scratch on a new scalable platform designed specifically for IOT devices like your thermostat. This change gives us full control of the system and will enable us to continually invest in upgraded functionality and new features.


    We understand this is a big change. Unfortunately, there was not another way for us to prepare for the future and continue to improve our app for existing Pro1 WIFI thermostat owners with the old system. We apologize for this inconvenience but it will allow for a much better product experience over the coming months and years. We plan to begin releasing regular updates by the end of the Month. Please don’t hesitate to contact us at

    As of June 1, 2019, if you had an existing account to control your Pro1 WiFi thermostat with our old app, please do the following:

    1. Download the New Pro1 Connect app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. 
    2. Create a New User Account. Unfortunately, our old server was not configured to allow us to transfer existing users. This is a one-time action. We’ve added sign in with google and facebook options to make this process easier than ever. 
    3. If your thermostat was previously connected to our old app we have automatically updated it to talk to our new server. You can confirm by observing the link icon is absent and the thermostats network (TSTAT-####) will be displayed on the screen for some models. Please see our FAQ's for more information on confirming the update.
    4. Once you’ve logged into the app, select Add a thermostat from the side menu in the My Thermostats view. Please follow the commissioning steps to connect your updated thermostat to the new Pro1 Connect app. Please see our WiFi Help section for more information. 

    If you have NEVER connected your thermostat to the internet with any of our apps we must perform an update to the thermostat. Please do the following:

    1. Download the New Pro1 Connect app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
    2. Create a New User Account. Unfortunately, our old server was not configured to allow us to transfer existing users. This is a one-time action. We’ve added sign in with google and facebook options to make this process easier than ever. 
    3. Once you’ve logged into the app, select Add a thermostat from the side menu in the My Thermostats view. Please follow the commissioning steps to connect your new thermostat to our “Over the Air” (OTA) update server. It can take up to an hour for the thermostat to find its way to our server to receive the update. The display will indicate when the update begins. When it completes, the link icon is absent and the thermostat’s network (TSTAT-####) will be displayed on the screen for some models. Please visit our WIFI Help page for detailed instructions.
    4. Your thermostat is ready to connect to our new system. Please follow the Add a Thermostat procedure one more time and your thermostat will be connected to our new app.

    Account Creation

    You MUST create a new account to log into the Pro1 Connect app.
    If you have already created a Pro1 Connect account you can jump to Step 4.

    Step 1 - Log In Or Create An Account

    Login manually or using your Facebook or Google account. If it is your first time using the Pro1 Connect app you will need to create a new account. If you login using your Facebook or Google account you must login this way every time.

    Step 2 - Register Account

    After completing the required fields you will receive an email containing a verification code which is required to complete the next step.

    Step 3 - Verify Account

    Now enter the verification code from the email and select Create Account.
    Note: If you did not receive an email please check your junk folder.

    Connectivity

    Now that you have an account it is time to connect your thermostat to your local WIFI network.

    Step 4 - Add A Thermostat

    Select Add A Thermostat button to add a thermostat to your account.

    Step 5 - Connecting To The Thermostat

    Press and hold the light button on your unconnected thermostat until the screen flashes three times. The thermostat WIFI network name will then appear at the top of the thermostat screen. (It will begin with “TSTAT”). Make a note of this.

    Step 5.1 - On Your Mobile Device

    Use the “WIFI Settings” button to go to your mobile device settings and connect to the thermostat WIFI network (It will begin with “TSTAT”). Once connected, return to this app, and press “Continue”.
    Note: If you are using an Android phone press the lower right back button to return to this screen.
    Note: If you are using a T855i thermostat the WIFI network name will appear in the lower text field and does not require holding the light button.

    Step 6 - Connect To Your WIFI Network

    Select your local WIFI network from the drop-down list and enter the password. Press “Continue”.
    Note: On an Android device you must disable mobile data through the phone settings in order to reach this step.

    Step 7 - Thermostat Location

    Enter the location of the thermostat you are connecting either manually or by using the “Use my location” button.
    Note: iPhone users may be required to reconnect to the thermostat to complete this process. (Example TSTAT-####). Return to the app to complete step 7.

    Step 8 - Enter Your HVAC Professional’s Contact Info (Recommended)

    Before completing the process, you have the option to enter the contact information of your trusted HVAC professional. This will be stored throughout the app for quick access whenever your system requires servicing.

    List Of Thermostats

    View and select all thermostats registered to your account.

    Set At Temperature

    This number displays the current Set At temperature for the listed thermostat. Red indicates the system is currently in heat and blue indicates cooling. It the system is in auto-changeover both will appear.

    Room Temperature

    This number displays the current ambient room temperature for each thermostat.

    Control Thermostat

    Select a thermostat to advance to the thermostat control screen.

    Thermostat Menu

    Access settings specific to the currently viewed thermostat including scheduling.

    Thermostat Name

    Use the left and right arrows to switch between thermostats.
    Note: Arrows only appear if you have multiple thermostats installed.

    Room Temperature

    This number displays the current ambient room temperature.

    Set Point Temperature

    Set the desired temperature of your space using the setpoint slider. The color of the setpoint will change to red in heat or blue in cooling.

    Fan Setting

    Select your preferred fan mode (Auto, On, or IAQ).

    Schedule Setting

    Change or view your scheduled program.
    Note: Scheduling must be turned on in the thermostat menu.

    Select your preferred system mode (Heat, Cool, Off, Auto)

    Step 1 - Select Days

    Select a day of the week to view days grouped together

    Step 2 - Edit Time Periods

    Select the edit button to make changes. This will make the + signs appear.

    Select the plus sign to expand the time period you wish to edit.
    Note: The T701i is shipped as a non-programmable thermostat. If you would like to use this feature, you must first turn scheduling on through the thermostat menu located in the top right corner of the thermostat home screen.

    Scroll up or down to select the time you want the time period to begin.
